ARCHER STREET/INNERPLACE

Billed as South Soho’s best-kept secret, new sophisticated cocktail lounge and bar, Archer Street has the appearance and style of a members-only club but open to all those in the know.
Last week, leading concierge service Innerplace, hosted an exclusive party for its member’s at London’s hottest new venue. Founder Tim Badham prides himself on providing unparalleled service, offering a seamless service arranging access to the most desirable venues for its members. If this evening was anything to go by, Innerplace will certainly deliver their members unforgettable evenings and entertainment.
On first arrival we were guided to the downstairs area which boasts a playful and après ski feel, with reclaimed rafter board walls, stripy cushions, quirky mirrors, and a long bar covered in antiqued steel panels.
Here we were treated to one of their delectable cocktails, including a stunning raspberry and champagne concoction. The drinks are sure to be the focal point of this venue, displaying an impressive cocktail list including their signature cocktail Dawa (a Kenyan drink translated as ‘Magic potion’). If this wasn’t enough, Archer Street also boasts the London’s first Billecart-Salmon Champagne bar.

Whilst relaxing in the cosy retreat, we were treated to the highly anticipated pop-up entertainment in which the all-singing, all-dancing staff members emerged from behind the bar to perform renditions of Cee Lo Green’s ‘Forget You’ and Queen’s ‘Don’t Stop Me Now’ adding to the fun of the evening and transporting us for a few moments into an episode of Glee. Taking the fun even further, Archer Street will also be hosting a calendar of special themed evenings and in addition to this, there will be a monthly soiree, where celebrities are invited to host their own evenings in the bar, giving a percentage of the proceeds to their elected charity.
Archer Street is undoubtedly set to take Soho by storm, combining the fun and drama of the theatre district indoors but without the chaos. This is certainly an exceptional venue, and one I will most definitely be returning to.
