Rudimental and Bipolar Sunshine Rock Bacardi Beginnings
Rudimental are one of the hottest acts of the moment, striking hit after hit in the charts, and are currently headlining festivals the world over. It’s hard to believe that a couple of years ago they were virtually unheard of, and with the help of Bacardi, they have decided to give back and offer an upcoming act the chance to work with them to create a hit.
On 11th July, Bacardi Beginnings ‘24hr A&R’ saw upcoming electro pop vocalist Bipolar Sunshine and Rudimental given the arduous task of writing, producing, and mastering a track to perform together later that same day in front of an intimate audience at the launch event at The Vaults in Waterloo.
We were treated to a host of Bacardi cocktails before Bipolar Sunshine took to the stage first to perform songs from his debut EP, before Rudimental took over with a medley of hits including Waiting All Night and Not Giving In– much to the delight of those who were lucky enough to win tickets through the Bacardi Beginnings dedicated website.
Finally it was time for Bipolar Sunshine to make history, and make what could be his first steps into superstardom. The two acts introduced their brand new single Distance to the excited fans, an upbeat, summer track which went down well in the heatwave sweeping Britain.
Distance is available to listen to on Bipolar Sunshine’s Soundcloud and video highlights are below. There are 2 further Bacardi Beginnings events pairing an experienced act with upcomers- announcements to be made soon, so keep checking the Bacardi Facebook page to see how you can win tickets.
