Guest Post: The Bulgari Hotel Sunday Brunch and Movie
Always one for pushing the boundaries of luxury and style, The Bulgari Hotel and Residences plays host to a very special type of brunch. Each Sunday, the hotel’s grand dining room is filled for La Dolce Domenica, a fashionable brunch followed by a private movie experience.
After settling down and taking in the stunning interior with a complimentary aperitivo, guests are invited to select dishes from the buffet-style brunch table, which sits grandly in the center of the room. The large spread of Italian offerings consists of cheese, charcuterie, freshly cooked bread and a selection of traditional antipasti. Also available are cereals, fresh fruit and yogurts.
Having taken your fill of what is essentially offered as starters, a genial waiter appears to take your order for your main course A la carte. The menu lists delicious brunch classics such as eggs Benedict and cassolette, but also features traditional Italian lunch dishes such as Milanese risotto and Peperonata-style baked cod.
To top off a leisurely afternoon of dining in lavish surroundings, a series of specially designed fashionista treats fit for an afternoon tea are presented. The feast is then followed by a screening of a film in the hotel’s state-of-the-art, 47-seat cinema. The movie calendar will feature both latest releases and renowned classics with a different movie scheduled for each Sunday.
To indulge in this afternoon delight, it’s £58 per person and £39 for children. Unlimited Möet & Chandon Champagne is offered for a supplement of £17.
