Concours D’Elegance Celebrates Its First Year In Style at The Hurlingham Club, London

Last week, The Hurlingham Club played host to Concours D’Elegance, London’s leading luxury lifestyle event which attracted car, yacht and plane enthusiasts alike. Official charity patron of The Christchurch Earthquake Appeal, Dame Judith Mayhew Jonas and New Zealand Rugby star, Zinzan Brooke, opened the show with an extravagant ribbon cutting ceremony, followed by the sound of loud engines and a parade of gleaming super cars.
The event, brought together some of the world’s most exclusive lifestyle brands, including bespoke jewellery by Nina Koutibashvili, timeless watch designers Bremont Watches and stylish holiday-home experts, The Blue Realty Group. Alongside this, Aston Martin, Rizon Jet and Sunseeker London were just a few of the brands who showcased a range of supercars, yachts and private jets on the lawns of The Hurlingham Club.
Concours D’Elegance set itself apart from its competition treating guests to a genuine World War II Spitfire and the the first debut of the Hermes Helicopter.
Throughout the three-day spectacular, guests made the most of the glorious British weather as they were invited to sip champagne in the Veuve Clicquot Champagne bar and embrace a luxurious trip along the River Thames in a Linley Swan GP Powerboat. The luxurious garden party also boasted a stunning £250,000 diamond encrusted Ferrari Opus book, which displayed the detailed history of Ferrari in all its glory.
The three day festival of all things fast and shiny came to a close on Friday evening with an extravangant after party boasting some of societies finest including, Apprentice’s mentor Nick Hewer, model Emma Noble and England rugby play, James Haskell. The Made In Chelsea Cast who helped their very own Spencer Matthews celebrate his new beau’s birthday in style while DJ Seb Fontaine rocked the decks in the West London Private Members Club until the early hours while happy guest danced in the ballroom and socialised outside around the supercars.
