DANIEL FOOTWEAR CELEBRATES 20 YEARS
1993: Bill Clinton became U.S. president, the World Wide Web went live and a Leeds based designer shoe and leather goods store by the name of Daniel Footwear first opened its doors to the public. 20 years on, the brand have over 30 stores in 25 cities across the UK and one of the most user friendly retail sites around.
The store sells everything from boots and sandals to bags and accessories from an impressive array of designer names including Vivienne Westwood, D&G, Michael Kors, Guess and many more. As well as the designer names, Daniel have carved out a niche creating their own brand of Italian shoes and accessories and unlike many in-house brands, they have gone for quality over economy. I found many of the styles to be surprisingly on trend with what has just come off of the catwalks; and superior leathers are prominent through most of the collection.
Most impressively, Daniel Footwear has managed to transfer their in-store experience to their website and I found it a pleasure to sort through the different designs using the search panel sidebar. Also, the Lookbook and Celebrity Style sections gave me inspiration when I became stuck trying to pick a style for a night out.
Daniel Footwear is certainly worthy of a spot in the bookmarks of any fashionista and with a price match guarantee, you know you won’t be paying over the odds.
