GOODWOOD FESTIVAL OF SPEED 2012

I was happily cruising around in my Aston Martin DB9 when I was rudely awakened from my slumber by foxes running through my bins outside- and I was back to reality with a scornful bump. Though disappointed, I lay in bed comforted by the knowledge that the Goodwood Festival of Speed is back next month where dreams become reality.
28th June till 1st July sees Goodwood turned into a motoring enthusiasts dream as the world’s most luxurious supercars, bikes, and planes are all exhibited in the lavish surroundings of Goodwood’s famous race track. Now in its 18th year, the Goodwood Festival of Speed is the annual motor show and with this year’s theme being ‘Young Guns- Born to Win’, 2012 is set to be one of the biggest yet.
Over the 4 days, there will be a variety of events for all the family including air shows, classic car exhibitions, exclusive access to never before seen cars, and of course, racing! I’m personally looking forward to seeing the seven F1 teams due to attend (Including McLaren & Red Bull), the exhibition dedicated to iconic British manufacturer Lotus, and the photographic homage to one of my heroes, Alain Prost. I’m counting down the days (but the only drawback is my dreams are becoming more and more vivid by the night!)
