*If you are not used to exercising on a regular basis please contact a healthcare professional for advice before doing so.
For those who are bucking the New Year trend of hibernation, Greg Whyte has teamed up with glacéau vitaminwater to provide you with some insider secrets to help you feel good, tone up and look great. So, if you’re still partying this January and want some tips to help stay on top form, read on…
Greg says:
“Let me show how to tone up, look great and feel fantastic. With time against you, focus on those important areas you can show off – your bum and legs, your tummy and your arms.
The following exercises focus on these key areas and will only take 30 minutes to complete. If you can do the session 5 days per week you will see incredible results in just 2-3 weeks. Remember that it is not only exercise that will help you look great, your diet and hydration are crucial elements in your look good quick scheme. Staying optimally hydrated will ensure you are on top form physically and mentally. Focussing on your hydration over the 3 week programme will leave your skin looking great – the final piece of your master plan to looking great.â€
If you’re continuing party season well into January and beyond, here are some simple tips to help you avoid party burn-out. Help maintain your silky dancing skills late into the night with the following:
Hydrate Hydrate Hydrate
Alcohol is your number one enemy, but what would a party be without a few drinks!
If you‘re consuming alcohol, a simple rule should be to remember to keep drinking soft drinks. Drinking these throughout the night will help you remain hydrated, avoid those embarrassing late night extra-curricular events and reduce dehydration the next day.
It is also vitally import the day after a party and in the lead up to your next big dance floor performance, to make sure you are optimally hydrated. My recommendation is glacéau vitaminwater – it tastes great and as well as hydrating you it has some added vitamins and minerals that you may need to get you through the day. It’s easy to keep a track on your hydration status, look at your pee! – it should be straw coloured and you should be going every 1-2 hours.
Get an exercise session in between your parties
Alcohol is high in calories, so to keep that little party dress looking good on you, maintain your exercise programme throughout the party season – you might not feel like it, but it will keep you looking good and feeling great.
Get your 40 winks
Like an elite athlete you need to recover between parties and sleep is the most important part of any recovery strategy – try and space out your parties to give you time to recover, it’s not like your exams, cramming doesn’t work!
