To most people Monday 4th March 2013 is just like any other counting down the days until the weekend, but what is this I hear…British Pie Week you say?  This week just got a whole lot brighter; and where better to celebrate this great staple of theUK food industry than at JW Steakhouse onPark Lane?

The good folk at JW are offering a special lunch and dinner menu just for pie week featuring a different pie every day using the same high quality USDA & Aberdeen Angus beef we have come to expect from one of London’s premier meat restaurants.  Other pies available include Cornish seafood, ox tail, and chicken with chestnut and tarragon.  Check out the JW Steakhouse website for their full menu, but here is a preview of the one week only Pie menu:

Monday 4th March – Slow braised ox tail and bone marrow pie
Tuesday 5th March – Chicken, chestnut and tarragon pie
Wednesday 6th March – Filo pastry pie with butternut squash, Swiss cheese, spinach and pine nuts
Thursday 7th March – Aberdeen Angus steak andGreenwichale mean time pie
Friday 8th March – Cornish seafood pie
