JW STEAKHOUSE

Located in The Bourbon Bar at JW Steakhouse there is now a new evening called “Steak Tasting Tuesdays” Every Tuesday starting on the 11th January in the Bourbon Bar, steak lovers can come and sample dishes from the JW Steakhouse menu. The steak tasting is a way for the public to learn more and be exposed to what JW Steakhouse have to offer on a whole. The surroundings were quaint and very warm, greeted by friendly staff and directed to a table close to the cutting area, excitement filled us as the aroma of steak travelled towards us
.
This warm environment coupled with the helpful service was relaxing making the steak tasting even better, between 6-7pm, guests can choose to sample a piece of the British signature steak, a dramatic 32 ounce, on the bone rib eye aptly named the ‘Tomahawk’ and a slice of New York strip with a different side dish each week, this week we were treated to sweet potato mash with marshmallow crust.
The oven that cooks the steak “The Broiller” described as being shaped like a pizza oven cooks the meat from every angle, no part of the meat is untouched by this spectacular oven.
All the flavours are kept in the meat and it showed when my steak “well done” came to find its place inside my stomach, to accompany these succulent cuts of steak we were also lucky enough to sample from the Stags leap Wine cellars ‘Hands of Time’, a red wine which is exclusive to JW Steakhouse.
Staff were friendly, the location was exquisite, the food, even though only just a sample, was flavoursome and the wine quenched my thirst for sophistication and splendour.
Overall this experience is one I would recommend all to try, if this is how a tasting evening is run, I will definitely be reserving a table to taste a full dinner from JW Steakhouse.
