MEET HAYDEN WILLIAMS

A few weeks back I came across Hayden Williams for the first time, browsing through different links on twitter. In an instant I fell in love with his work as it reminded me so much of the beloved Disney Characters I used to watch as a child, and right away I wanted to find out more about him.

Hayden Williams is an aspiring fashion designer/illustrator living in london. The 19 year old fashion enthusiast has been drawing since the tender age of 3 years old and has developed his signature style of fashion illustration with a cartoon feel. He has always been inspired by the female form, in which you can see mostly in his collection and, in my opinion, he is damn good at it.

Most of his inspiration has come from his childhood where, as a child, he was captivated by Disney movies and started to draw his beloved Disney heroine characters, repeatedly sketching the female characters until they were to perfection. Hayden has now developed and adapted his skills in fashion illustration and uses his keen eye for detail to produce some amazing work, including his designs for the ‘save the children fashion show’ which raised over £1,000 for charity.

“My cartoon style I had back then has now progressed into professional fashion illustration/design as a teenager. I create fashion collections via illustration and can translate an idea from my head to paper very easily. In the near future, I would love to get a team together and have my own fashion brand. I would stick to what I know I am strongest at, which is the concept/design/illustration side of things. Who knows what the future holds, but I have big goals and I’m working hard to make them a reality!”
