NEW STORE LAUNCH: LES 100 CIELS
LES 100 CIELS
Parisian clothing label Les 100 Ciels, an already well-established brand in Asia, is launching its new collection in St. Christopher’s Place on April 2nd.
Les 100 Ciels offers a fluid and versatile concept of clothing: quality sustainable knitwear in simple shapes.
The store launch ties in with the launch of their next collection, Les 100 Ciels SS14, demonstrates feminine styling in cashmere, cotton, linen and silk. The new collection was inspired by model Stella Tennant and this season the label incorporated muted neutrals and vibrant pinks, yellows and blue to offer a fresh take on Spring knitwear. The collection uses techniques such as ‘no seams’ tubular knitting and over lock stitches and emphasis is placed on the unique twists given to classic shapes, including subtle cut outs and layering.
With a team of mature experience and fresh young assistants, passion for design, quality and finishing is evident. To develop Les 100 Ciels, the French designer behind the brand took inspiration from Chinese Poetry, which encourages the idea of infinity. Focused on a philosophy of understated luxury, the label takes inspiration from the simplicity of nature and the ever-changing characteristics of the sky and fuses it with a passion for quality and colour. Having control over their goat farms also allows the brand to ensure high quality fabrics.
