Proud Camden’s 2nd Birthday Party

We caught up with Proud who were recovering from a night of mayhem as they partied away in celebration of their 2nd Birthday on Wednesday 26th June. The night held host to a number of star guest including Lilly Allen and Amy Winehouse, who during Professor Green’s new single ‘ Just Be Good To Green’ ran on the stage grabbing a backing singer’s mic to sing Lilly Allen’s chorus then when the song ended disappearing almost faster as she appeared, making the crowd go crazy. Also at the party was Ron Brand (Russell Brand’s Dad) apparently jovially talking about a missed wedding invitation? Jarvis Cocker who was hosting the event was seen mingling and talking to his dear fans half the night, cocker guided birthday attendees through acts such as Lauren Pritchard, Ayah Marar, Swimming and Mumford & Sons (DJ). He seemed particularly impressed with burlesque star Banbury Cross, who burst out of a large cake to perform a raunchy, nipple-tassle champagne finale right in front of him. Typical of his witty compere skills, Cocker told the audience:
“Well I don’t know about you but I’ve never had a birthday cake like that!”
