Roger Saul, founder of Mulberry and owner of the Sharpham Park luxury Spelt food label, is bringing a pop-up version of his latest creation, Kilver Court – Bath’s neighbourhood Designer Outlet – to the highly anticipated Bath in Fashion from Sunday 25 March to Sunday 1 April 2012. As part of a series of informative talks scheduled throughout the week, Roger will also be telling his entrepreneurial story alongside key fashion designers including celebrated shoe creator Manolo Blahnik.
Roger’s ‘Fashion to Farming and Back’ talk on Tuesday 27 March at 7.30pm, promises to be a fascinating insight from a man who not only built one of Britain’s most powerful and successful fashion labels but is now reinventing the out of town shopping and leisure experience.
Located in The Octagon at Milsom Place, the Kilver Court Designer Emporium Pop-Up will feature brands such as Orla Kiely, Nicole Farhi, Pedlars and Crumpet, giving visitors to Bath in Fashion a taste of the new one-of-a-kind designer outlet.
Kilver Court, based just outside Bath in Shepton Mallet, is a completely new concept – the kind of which exists nowhere else in the country, combining regeneration of textile mill buildings to house an edit of quality designer and high-end fashion and interior brands at discounted prices. Also available at Kilver Court is local and organic produce from the Sharpham Park Farm Shop, specialised treatments at the Natural Health Centre, rare and beautiful plants and garden accessories from the garden nursery, as well as dining and refreshments in the Harlequin Café all surrounded by the stunning backdrop of the RHS* accredited Kilver Court’s secret gardens.
Stand alone Mulberry and Aubin and Wills outlet shops, and the ever changing edit of discounted designer brands in the Designer Emporium make Kilver Court a must visit destination for bargain hunters looking for the ultimate shopping experience and a great day out in beautiful Somerset.
