THE EIGHTH ELEMENT

As you may remember from my article about RumFest 2011, I had the pleasure of testing more rum than my liver would thank me for.  Despite my taste buds numbing with every glass, Elements 8 Spiced had my tongue jumping for joy.

Elements Eight is the result of 8 individual elements that are in perfect balance and harmony with each other. Each individual element adds a unique and distinct characteristic to the final blend.  When combined, the eight elements impart their unique characteristics, flavours and smoothness.

White & Dark rums are the popular base ingredient for some of our favourite cocktails, but the thought of a glass on the rocks can put a grimace on the hardest of faces.  Spiced rum has filled this void and enjoyed rapid growth in the market.

Having tried many spiced spirits, some have a tendency to overpower the rum taste with too much vanilla or cinnamon to hide the taste of an inferior product- but Element 8 maintains its St Lucian rum routes, with the subtle hint of 10 spices for a unique flavour.

Element 8 was the runaway winner of Best Spiced Rum at the Golden Rum Barrel Awards 2010, and it is easy to see why.  Despite being in the market less than 5 years, Element 8 is already a staple of many bars & restaurants in the UK & Europe.  So next time you are out, why not add some spice to your night?
