The Heartbreaks, from seaside town Morecambe UK, formed just under two years ago in May 2009. Their shared passions; Motown, bittersweet romance and the English seaside were the defining factors in their decision to start new, innovative band. In the short time that they have been a band, The Heartbreaks have received critical acclaim from NME and Clash, as well as winning the Manchester Evening News award for Best New Band. Not to mention Carl Barat hailing them as ˜the greatest support band ever! following their support slot on his UK tour last Winter. With a single coming in Spring, The Heartbreaks are all set to make waves in the indie scene due their unique talent, unrivaled charm and supremely passionate live shows.
