The Yacht London – Private Members Club

London has always proved itself to be the leading innovator in cutting edge restaurants and bars in the UK.  With thousands of people flocking in and out of the busy Capital each day for business meetings, the demand for high profile venues to hold conferences are extremely high.  However, BSF stumbled across a new extraordinary way of dining.

The Yacht London has been completely restored to its former glory, the 1920s Majestic steamer is now looking more elegant and sophisticated, and less like the dingy old mans pub deco it potrayed last year.  With classic features restored from the bygone era where the Thames was at the heart of London life, the yacht certainly brings a new unique twist to the private members club.

The vessel situated at Temple Pier was taken over by two brothers,  Nicolas Khan-Roper and Jason Khan, who set out to revolutionise the way we perceive business and dining.  A club which could provide real added value to its members and their businesses; and a place where young members could be mentored by successful business people and become the philanthropists of the future. Supported by a team of successful business people from the technology, finance, marketing, property, leisure and legal industries, who all work in London’s most pretigous names, will form at this beautiful venue where traditional meets contemporary.

As we wondered around the yacht we couldn’t help but get excited about the restored period features, sparkling crystal chandeliers and the large stain glass wall featuring the Yachts moto.  The main dining area is located on the main deck, with floor to celing windows that showcase some spectacular views of the Thames.  The restaurant holds up to 60 diners or 100 guests for a stand-up canapé reception, which is perfect if you want to hold a business meeting or wine and dine clients.

The Yacht London is also available for weddings and private or corporate hire.
