TK Maxx Gold Label

According to GE Money, the average woman spends 399 hours and 46 minutes shopping each year, which is the equivalent of 16 days and 40 minutes of retail therapy and most likely does not include the Summer and Winter sales. Women love to shop, and there is nothing more satisfying than finding a designer bargain. It could be even more satisfying than sex but that is open to discussion.

Back at the start of September I was introduced to the TKMaxx Gold Label, which is TKMaxx’s range of this season’s designer closing grouped under 1 label. I must admit that I have always been skeptical about TKMaxx ranges, as they were renowned for stocking the less desirable and disregarded seasonal items that no one wanted to buy. But instead of being a retail snob, I decided to overlook the past and treat this with an open mind.

After visiting the Press Office and viewing a small fraction of their collections, I was given a look book and after a few flicks of the pages I was very impressed by what was on offer. The very next day, I trekked to my local TKMaxx store and I enjoyed every moment of my guilt free shopping spree. Walking amongst Marc Jacobs, Versace, Lanvin and Celine up to 60% off and what seemed like their entire spring/summer collections laid neatly on the rails before me. I was free to roam and try on these must haves without any pressure from snooty assistants, which was refreshing.

As well as designer names, TKMaxx has a lovely home interior section- selling everything from brand name household appliances, to living room art deco. There is something here for all the discernable modern day man and woman and man. If the average woman spends 16days and 40 minutes of shopping each year, why not save some time and try the TKMaxx Gold Label collection- you could become a proud addict too.
